About

IMG_5035_BW_cropped_smHello! Ni hao! Bienvenido!

My name is Angelica Pace. I am 7 years old and beginning the second grade. I live in Miami, Florida. I am a brave adventurer! I love to travel with my family and play with my friends. My best friend is my sister, Scarlett. You will see her a lot in my blog.

I am writing this blog because I want to share my adventures with you. Sometimes I will be traveling with my family. Sometimes I will be hanging with my friends. The world is a big place….let’s go!

Backstage at the Nutcracker

We had a very fun day at the Nutcracker Magic Ball!  Before the show we ate delicious food and danced with the ballet dancers from the Miami City Ballet.  Then we went to see the beautiful Nutcracker Ballet.  Our favorite song is the Waltz of the Flowers.  Mommy has been playing that song to us since we were babies.  After the show we took a backstage tour and even met the Sugarplum Fairy!  It was awesome!  The Nutcracker makes me think of Christmas.

Life Imitates Art: BASEL 2017

Welcome to Art Basel on Miami Beach!  My Mom says that this is one of the largest contemporary art fairs in the world.  There were lots of weird paintings!  Scarlett and I had fun imitating our favorites.  The gallery owners were not as nice as the people in the Louvre.  One guy thought we were funny and took our photo.  Good enough for us!

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM???

Yes!  There is such a thing as the Museum of Ice Cream.  I went with my Mom and Sister to the “pop up” Museum of Ice Cream on Miami Beach.  It was the best museum I have ever visited.  We ate soft serve ice cream, melted ice cream, candies and ice cream toppings.  The main color was Millennial PINK!  The was room after room of pink fun.  We played on banana and cherry swings, learned a hip hop dance, visited the kinetic sand room and the grand finale was a GIANT pool of SPRINKLES that got all over our pants.  Mom learned how to take a BOOMERANG Video and we took lots of those.

What I am Thankful for…

For Thanksgiving we went to Columbus, Ohio.  My mom grew up there.  I am thankful for my sister.  I am thankful for my cousins, Lou and Pete.  I am thankful for getting together and making big leaf piles to jump into in Mimi’s backyard.  I am thankful for playing and smiling and being silly in Ohio.  I am thankful for Ohio and my family there. And I am thankful for my awesome coat that my mom bought.

The Statue Game…Life Imitates Art

My Daddy officially made up this game about 12 years ago on a trip to Florence, Italy, with my Mom.  Florence is known for having many beautiful statutes in the piazzas around town.  Daddy decided to impersonate the statutes.  We were getting bored at the Louvre Museum so Mommy taught us how to play the Statue Game and we had so much fun!  I had to post the large image for this one.IMG_8463IMG_8460IMG_8467IMG_8466IMG_8456IMG_8457

A hotel pillow fight!

These are the best.  We were supposed to be resting but we decided to have a pillow fight instead.  Here are the rules:  1). No rules. 2). You need two beds in your room, preferably queen size beds. 3). No shoes.  4).  Big Pillows. 5). You can jump between beds. 6). Make sure if you hit someone and they fall, you get 1 point.  7). The first person who gets 10 points wins.
